    Context

    The Health Hub is an online health and wellness store based in Ireland, selling supplements and wellness products directly to shoppers through Shopify.

    The challenge

    The Health Hub wanted something like having a health and wellness specialist on call all the time, someone who could understand what each customer needed and point them to the right product on the spot. That specialist, however, did not exist.

    A lot of the questions that came in late at night or over the weekend went unanswered, and the customer walked away. The ones that did get a reply depended on someone from the team stopping what they were doing to recommend products manually, with no time left to consider a bundle or an upsell. In the end, nobody could really say whether any of it was paying off.
